The big banks hold all the 401k’s for public employees, unionized labor etc… so the little banks need to get involved in the transfer of this wealth to community banks. there are fees for closing your 401K and i am sure the company and municipalities who have these big banks hold all this wealth will get penalty fees if they move the 401k’s to community banks. maybe allowing local banks to be providers for the new employee might be a way to transition from big banks to local banks.

as well, it sounds like economic warfare is finally being played publically, instead of a a back room wedge for bank to continue business as usual, in light of the recent comment that if there is a tax or fee on earnings from banks who recieved bailout fees. I suppose if the governmnent actually investigated and prosecutedthese bank CEO and practices, instead of sending the whistle blowers to jail (i.e. swiss bank account off shoring whistle blower), a tax or fee might not sound so bad after all. i would actually like to see giethner, summers and dodd out of government service. we need people who are actually serving the USA not assisting in siphening off our wealth.
